I am currently in the process of recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with CAD experience for a 6 month contract based in Suffolk.
You need to have experience using Unigrahics NX and Teamcentre (ideally, although other CAD packages will also be considered). Someone who has experience of FEA/MATLAB/Simulink would be beneficial. You should also be experienced with extrusions, castings and injection mouldings. Composite experience is by no means essential but would also be beneficial. The biggest thing for my client is to have someone who is experienced in mechanism design or working with mechanical assemblies. Moving mechanisms would be even better.
My client has expressed that they need a Mechanical Engineer who can consider calculations when designing.
