Description
Will be working on a small team building a power pricing application for use in retail. Will be creating stored procedures using business logic within SQL Server.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspect of database development
Create standard T-SQL queries and stored procedures;
Maintain and enhance the existing database, exports, and reports
Perform quality checks on reports and exports to ensure exceptional quality
Provide business users the data required for metrics and analysis
Develop new SSIS packages to meet business needs
Create and maintain documentation for project
Coordinates closely with internal clients and other team members to gather information, analyze business processes and information systems

Skills/Abilities:
(Typical skills and abilities may include the following:)
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Server Side development including (SSIS, SSMS)
3-5 Year's experience as a SQL Developer; must be able to manipulate data inside SQL, ie updating, deleting, inserting, & selecting
Experience writing procedures that have more to do with writing queries.
Ability to write complex T-SQL code (stored procedures, in-line TVSs, CTEs, XML shredding) while avoiding deadlocks and other performance and consistency issues
Development experience in Oracle, PL/SQL is preferred.
Development experience in C#, .NET is preferred.
Experience with database administration is preferred.
