Looking for a technical support professional. This is going to be a single member effort to support critical production system. Part of the system is facing general public.
Rich experience in production support of web applications
5+ years web application development experience in VB.NET, Asp.NET
Experience with Oracle RDBMS (9i and 10g)
Experience in writing SQL queries, understanding data relationships - debugging using data
Must be analytical, pay attention to detail, and logically resolve issues
Must be willing to learn new technologies or tools as needed
Should be oriented towards identifying root cause, and preventing future potential issues
Should be willing to share with and gather knowledge from other members of the team to resolve complex issues - work as a team
Should maintain log of issues, and maintain documentation to aid in support - must setup and follow a process
Must be willing to work after hours or weekends when there is a production outage/severity 1 or 2 issue
Experience with Microsoft Windows related applications, tools
Rich understanding of web application architecture hosted on Windows and Oracle
Experience with OR willingness to learn - FileNet Content Server - 5.4 and eProcess Server - 5.1, FileNet Capture tools
Must have hands on experience with developing applications with .NET Frame Work 1.1
Strong skills debugging and profiling code.
Work experience in FileNet Panagon (document management system), eProcess (workflow system), FileNet Capture (scanning solutions) is a strong plus but not mandatory
Experience or exposure to any content management tool experience is a plus but not mandatory
Experience with communicating to end users and level 1 support (help desk team members).
