Support Engineer - Exchange Migration/6 - 9 Month Contract/Dublin, Ireland/€220 per day
A global IT services company is seeking an Exchange Support Engineer to join their transformation project onsite with one of Ireland's leading banks.
This is a global transformation project, migrating Lotus Domino to Microsoft Exchange via Dell Quest Software, providing pre and post migration support for their complex messaging environment with more than 15,000 mailboxes and multiple mobile devices
Must Have-
Exchange(2007/above) deployment/Support/Migration exposure
Experience 2-4 years
Essential Job Duties
- Provides support to end-users and troubleshoot all messaging issues. Candidate with migration experience preferred. ( Lotus to exchange, Exchange to exchange).
- Experience on migration tools like quest, Binary tree, Bnator.
- Troubleshoot and isolate to component level and complete to resolution. Channel irresolvable issues to the next level (Desktop, Server, Calendaring, mail routing etc
- Assists with the monitoring of the mail system.
- Creates new users and rectifies existing users as needed.
- Provision mobile devices (Blackberry, WM, Smart-Phones, MDM etc).
- Mobile/ActiveSync User Administration
- Administration of Enterprise Vault server

- Automated Group Management tool SMTP relay Server
- Secure File Appliance Manageability and Administration
- Enterprise Vault Manageability and Administration for Email Archiving structure
- Exchange Test, Development and QA environment
