SOM Project Manager - Sales Order Management

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to assist in the Sales Order Management.

Background
In the future the co-workers and our client's customers shall be able to place, follow-up and manage their orders, for both products and service products, in all sales channels, throughout the entire customer journey. The overall goal with the Sales Order Management project is to develop one common solution for Sales Order Management, incl. working methods and an IT system, contributing to our client's future eCommerce capabilities. This shall be done by providing reliable and timely stock availability and service capacity information at order placement, enabling the customer to choose different options of delivery and services. In addition the fulfillment of the Sales order shall be done through logistic orchestration and synchronization of both products and services considering both the Sales Order Agreement with our client's customer and the most optimal way from both a logistic and cost perspective. Furthermore the order visibility shall be provided to the co-worker and the end-customer via the channels used for following-up and managing the orders. The project is one of the key eCommerce projects in the eCommerce program and will be driven within our client's IT Demand Supplying organization. The project is tightly connected to the New Web Platform project which will provide a new web and a new web shop, providing the channels and touch points for the co-workers and our client's customers to place, follow-up and manage their orders enabling a true multichannel experience. The main task of the role is to coordinate so that the IT related project activities, before, during and after the go-live of a release are planned, executed and followed-up. The consultant will need to work closely with our customer's business go-live responsible, IT transition lead, IBM and Legacy counterparts.

Tasks
The consultant will be part of our client's IT project team and will be working in close dialogue with the other team members. As well as be a part of a project team and may be assigned various tasks, not only directly related to the assignment. The main responsibility is to secure that the IT go-live activities are planned and executed in a good way.

The main tasks in the assignment will be:
- Leading IT workshops to identify go-live activities
- Plan and follow-up IT activities needed prior to go-live.
- Plan and execute the IT go-live activities.
- Plan and follow-up the IT activities after go-live
- Representing SOM IT in Pilot Coordination meeting after go-live,
- Synchronise with business go-live responsible, Sterling, Legacy and Integration counterparts
- Providing status reports showing progress of go-live activities

The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:
To secure that the IT go-live activities are planned and executed in a good way.

Profile

Knowledge
The consultant will work as a Release Coordinator, and may have a technical project manager profile with experience around release planning and release management.

There is no possibility for remote/off-site work.
There is some travel required outside the primary working site(s).
