My client, a well known pharmaceutical company, is looking for a candidate to work within their IT division in Zuchwil, Switzerland. They are looking to recruit a System Engineer on a 6 months contract ).The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
* 3rd Line support (troubleshooting, incident management, debugging)
* Server monitoring, administration and operation, mainly Exchange and MS SQL Server
* Design & deploy solutions
* Project related site deployment and integration
* Integrate solutions together with other application teams
* Executing planned maintenance (security patching, operating system and tooling upgrades, …)
* Performance monitoring & tuning
* Improvement and extension of operational stability
* Creation and improvements of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and QA documentation
* Disaster recovery design & support activities
Language Proficiencies
* Advanced English spoken and written, German knowledge would be a well appreciated asset
