Electronics Engineer/Support Engineer/Test Development Engineer - CONTRACT
Location; Surrey
Duration; Initially 3 months with very likely extensions for 1-2+ years
My client is urgently looking to secure the services of an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their busy Hardware team who are working on a multitude of high profile projects.
Role:
Investigating causes and possible solutions to product failures
Monitoring and investigating device/module reliability and working on solutions to overcome issues
Producing reports as required
Evaluating, updating and developing support documentation
Monitoring and supporting new design through warranty periods
Ensuring the smooth progression of design through Test, Production, Installation and Field Support
Essential skills/experience:
The successful applicant will possess an HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, a strong background in an Electronic Engineering role, good knowledge of a full engineering project life cycle and ideally, experience of CADSTAR or ORCAD.
