Special Educational Needs SEN, SEND, SEN Manager EHC SENCO EHCPMy client, a leading local authority, is seeking a SEN Manager/Team Lead to manage a team of 4 to work exclusively on converting statements to EHCP.
The successful candidate will have to have detailed knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and other relevant legislation and to take account of changes in legislation.
The current SEN staff team will focus on new EHC assessments and the annual review of pilot EHC plans' that were agreed as part of the SEND Pathfinder programme. They will not be involved in reviews and conversions of existing statements.
All three groups of staff will work to the same statutory process and timescales; to the same standards of engagement and communication with parents and come under the same Team Manager in the proposed SEND service structure.
