A market leading Life & Pensions is urgently looking to recruit a Funds Support Analyst to assist on a BAU assignment.

The role will involve the following BAU activity:

  • Key responsibility for liaising with and providing support to circa 70 external fund managers
  • Ensure that fund legal agreements are in place and being maintained prior to fund change or fund launch activity being undertaken
  • Follow and co-ordinate (both internally and externally) fund change and fund activity across insured funds and unit linked investments.
  • Setting up and maintenance of legal agreements for insured funds.
  • Support function - supporting the team who are directly managing contract implementations/changes or fund changes
  • Review legal documents and advise of any changes required.
  • Compare current/historic legal agreements with fund database and check relevant charges.
  • Draft Fund specific requirements (insurance/Re-insurance agreements)
  • Support the drafting of fund specific requirements; legal take these requirements to develop required agreements.

The successful candidates will possesses the following:

  • Proven experience developing relationships with external fund managers and internal parties/managers (not in a sales context)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of working directly for fund managers (either external or in-house)
  • Knowledge of Unit Linked Investment funds
  • Knowledge of External Fund managers and the operations involved.
  • Well exposed to set up/review of mandated fund/mirror fund (mirror preferred)
  • An understanding of putting in place mirror funds with our fund managers
