e-Courier is looking for smart, self-motivated, experienced, web and mobile developers who enjoy the freedom of telecommuting to work as long-term, full-time (40 hrs./week) independent contractors on a variety of software development projects.
The schedule is flexible the number of hours you work consecutively is completely up to you, so long as the job gets delivered on time.
The development is agile and the release cycle is short (weekly) and you are quick to adapt to new requirements and challenges from our clients.
You will be part of a small, highly skilled development team. You will have FUN creating NextGen eCourier V2.
Qualifications:
We expect to see:
>several years of hands on experience in the following areasLanguages: VB.Net, ASP.NetWeb Technologies: modern HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, AJAX, Javascript, WEB API’s & responsive single page designFrameworks/libs/plugins: js MVC, jQuerySQL Server databases: Microsoft SQL

Languages: XSLT, Java, & legacy ASP, Visual Basic 6.0,IDE: Visual Studio Platforms: w2k8-12,Node.js, android, ios, linuxFrameworks/libs/plugins: jQueryUI, jqgrid, jquery-jqplot, jquery-validation, jquery-layout, jqMobileSource Control: SVN
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design,develop and code complex new products and applications in Client Server Web based architecturesConvert existing legacy asp web pages to single page jQuery .aspx web appsMaintain and enhance existing legacy applications.Recognize problems with existing legacy applications and suggest improvements.Integrate 3rd party applications Understand end user business needs and ensure they are met in software application development and delivery
