Manning Global, is urgently looking for a SI Project Manager – United Kingdom for our client, a
prestigious international Telecommunications company, to be based in United Kingdom on a Contract basis.

Number of positions: 1
Contract Type: Initial 3 months
Start Date: October
Principal Job Description:
Planning, scheduling and managing all SI activities with 3rd parties related to the the delivery of a major
BSS solution to a key UK customer
Agree documents such as NDAs, PIDs, etc with 3rd parties related to the BSS project
Manage 3rd parties to deliver required documentation, interfaces and/or custom deliverables
Ensure 3rd party testing is scheduled and completed in line with overall project plan
Provide regular status reporting to all stakeholders
Attend regular 3rd party meetings
Note that this role will require extensive periods of time working at the customer site as well as
occasional meetings at 3rd party sites within the UK.
Basic Qualification, Skills & Experience:

years minimum experience of SI management
Proven ability to interact within a multicultural
environment
Experience of the software development life cycle
Very strong project manager experienced in dealing with 3rd party and SI management
5 years minimum experience as a Project Manager in complex, large scale telco projects with
significant SI activity
Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense
business environment
Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors
Strong negotiation skills
Strong influencing skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations
Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations
Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports
Ability to work independently
Fluent communication in English
Diploma, degree or above in a relevant discipline.
Recognised project management qualification desirable
