Description
As a clinical sample scientist you will be required to:*Responsible for ensuring that all laboratory activities meet the requirements of quality and regulatory standards.
*Provide operational expertise & advise to clinical teams with regard to lab strategy development & deployment within clinical setting
*Ensure all the lab components within clinical documentation (eg. Protocol, Informed Consent, Laboratory Manual) are accurate and fit for purpose.
*Accountable for creating lab specifications for contracts with external providers ensuring operational and geographical requirements are fit for purpose through collaboration and engagement with the study team and external lab providers.
*Manage interface with external provider to oversee delivery of lab services & data from ext. Providers.
*Provide business oversight of external lab budgets at a study level.
*Work with cross functional parties to communicate and train on relevant processes which underpin the laboratory operating model.
Essential:
*PhD (or relevant equivalent advanced degree) in relevant area, or equivalent industry experience.
*Proven experience in contributing to operational deployment of clinical laboratory testing
*Proven experience in oversight of external partners, especially clinical laboratory testing
* ADME knowledge
* Experience with developing lab plans and managing lab suppliers
