Scope of work
This will be working for a NHS organisation. If successful you will also be looking at the data flows for the organisation and how they can be improved from the provider. This is a really exciting opportunity to work on a project in which you will be given a lot of independence to utilise your analysis experience.
You will
Have extensive experience of NHS data and it's data quality, including SUS, contract monitoring data (SLAM) and local commissioning datasets;
- Be proficient in SQL and MS office;
Ideally have a working knowledge of specialised commissioning, Payment by Results (PbR), Identification Rules algorithms and QIPP schemes
- Be highly numerate, with experience and understanding of processing large datasets and applying a wide variety of analytical techniques, to provide robust benchmarking and intelligence;
- Identify problems and develop appropriate analytical solutions, analysing and triangulating data in innovative ways, and adapting approaches to deal with ambiguity;
