Description
Our direct Fortune 500 client, a major insurance company, is looking to hire a Senior IT Systems Test Engineer in Mayfield Village, OH for a 1 year contract.Required:
- Must have at least 5 years of related work experience in system testing, which includes strong working knowledge of software applications, software development life cycle, computer programming and testing methodologies.
- The ability to translate a variety of technical information into understandable terms and present results to a variety of audiences - both technical and non-technical.
- Proven application of industry-standards, methodology, and terminology relating to software/systems quality assurance and testing.
- Proven ability to assess implications of proposed systems changes on the processes and factors related to the insurance business or common business functions (eg marketing, sales, and financial controls).
- Demonstrated ability at advanced troubleshooting and problem solving issues.
Plusses:
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for moderate to complex issues, escalating those that require management involvement, when necessary.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
