The mission will consist in assisting the team leader on following tasks:

Analyse the business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
Ensure that short term commitments (actions/deadlines) are reliable and fulfilled
Determine the most optimized solution and assess the IT impact of the requested change
Follow-up of the implementation of the solution
Prepare and execute tests of the implemented solution
Write documentation
Report progress to the ' EMT-IS Build Power Short term Development domain responsible

Technical skills required:

Strong Analytical mind
Committed to results and quality delivery;
Able to work independently & organize his/her work after an introductory period
Able to interact between IT and business
General Technical knowledge (database concepts, development concepts) is recommended
Experience in Agile project methodology (SCRUM)
General Functional knowledge in Power Optimizations/Operations activity would be a benefit
Fluent in English. French recommended, Dutch nice to have.
Within the new Energy Europe Business Line (EEBL), the Energy Management & Trading (EMT) Business is responsible for the optimization of the Group's assets in Europe: purchase contracts, physical assets and sales contracts. Its role is to ensure competitive energy for our customers while maximizing the value created, in a context of controlled risks.
EMT manages, over all time horizons, one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe comprising electricity, gas, coal, petroleum products, biomass, CO2 and environmental products.

EMT IS supports this business organization IT-wise. Within the 'EMT-IS Build RMS Short Term & Back Office' domain we are looking for a functional/business analyst with technical knowledge for the Project.
