Description
I am currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work with a prestigious F1 client based in the Oxfordshire area, some key information is as follows:
Duration: 6 months +
Experience Required
Experience within the F1/motorsport or similar industry
Proficiency with Unigraphics/NX CAD system is essential
Previous experience with Design for Manufacture
Knowledge and experience in the design of Mechanical Systems for the automotive/F1/motorsport industry (such as Gearbox, Suspension, Chassis etc)
Person Specification
The F1 industry is notorious for being a fast paced, high pressure environment. My client is therefore seeking someone with a "can do" attitude to work and someone who can perform well under pressure.
Historically, the most successful candidates for this type of position are people who have a keen interested in F1 and/or motor sport (although this is not a requirement for the position).
