SQL DBA
6 month contract
Dublin
A large well known Irish organisation require the expertise of an SQL DBA for a 6 month contract based in Dublin City.
This role requires a proven SQL DBA with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the following;
SQL server with very strong SQL query skills and administration experience
Strong SQL Server management experience including the usage of DTS/SSIS packages for automated data processing
Knowledge of SQL Server clustering/replication/High Availability technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experienced administering databases on Windows platforms
Knowledge of SSRS/SSAS/SSIS is advantageous
The main responsibilities are as follows:
Daily administration and support of the high availability Production, Test and Development databases with emphasis on SQL Server (VMWare & Clusters)
Providing technical input to optimisation of SQL Server database configuration and administration processes
