Qualifications & Experience
-
At least eight, typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of six years experience in application program development.

A minimum of five years experience with IBM WebSphere Process Server, ESB, Integration Developer, Business Monitor and WebSphere MQ.

Hands on development experience with IBM/WebSphere technologies (developing solutions leveraging BPEL, BPMN, WSDL, HTTP, JMS, MQ, J2EE JCA Adapters).

Expert-level knowledge of SOA, Middleware technologies, messaging frameworks, and web-services standards

Hands on development experience of XML Parsers (eg JAXP, WTX) is required.

Experience designing integration solutions that appropriately capture and handle errors in a graceful manner that supports business continuity.

Must be able to develop technical documentation.

Knowledge of integration strategies (eg Web Services) with Legacy applications.

Knowledge of ACORD a plus.

WMB & WMQ Certifications a plus.

Experience using many of the following:
- Layered architecture, components and interfaces
- Languages: JEE, Java, JavaScript
- Middleware: WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker
- Web Servers: IIS/SunOne WS
- Databases: DB2/UDB, Oracle, SQL Server,
- Application Servers: IBM WebSphere
- Architectural Design using Visio, UML diagrams and Use Case documentation
- Design and development experience using distributed technologies, Enterprise JavaBeans, JMS, JDBC
- Advanced Web Services Skills: SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL -
The candidate must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication in English.
