Our client, a global leading precision machine manufacturing organisation, is looking for a Software Metrology Engineer, to work on a long term contract basis within their engineering division. They are looking for a suitable candidate to join ASAP, with the position based in the Netherlands.Job Responsibilities:
As a part of the Metrology team, you will develop, realise and qualify mathematical solutions that are gating for the high precision performance of the machines.
Metrology software solutions incorporate system design aspects that cover the spectrum from development to realisation, integration, manufacturing, installation and support.
A Software Metrology Engineer is responsible for designing software and advancing the metrology competence.
Skills Requirements:
MSc, PDEng or PhD in engineering (physics, mathematics, mechanical, electrical).
3-5 years experience in a technical product development environment.
Experience with Matlab, Mathematica, Maple, or similar packages.
Knowledge about the SW development process and tools.
