Title:         Exchange/Active Directory Consultant
Location:  Midtown Atlanta

Organization that is a technology integration and management firm transforming how technology does business is seeking a Exchange/Active Directory Consultant. Your success will be measured by clients' recommendations, process and technology expertise, as well as best-of-breed guidance.

In this role you will be responsible for providing configuration, implementation and support of global messaging environments. In addition, the you will help manage the full technical environment including Active Directory, network infrastructure, VMware and general systems administration responsibilities across a wide array of technical services.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Support a multi-site Microsoft Exchange organization in order to meet and maintain appropriate service levels 
  • Implement, configure and support Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 
  • Responsible for testing, tuning, configuration and setup of Microsoft Exchange architecture as well as support common email applications  
  • Manage the appropriate setup of applications hosted via Microsoft Exchange or reliant upon Microsoft Exchange 
  • Experience with Office 365 desired
  • Maintain appropriate documentation on the Microsoft exchange environment  
  • Monitor Windows Servers and troubleshoot problems 
  • Support, maintain and administer third party applications 
  • Produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration and related processes 
  • Enforce change management and compliance processes 
  • Work as a technical resource on assigned projects 
  • Install, configure, update and maintain server operating systems 
  • Proactively manage the Exchange environment, replication and redundancy 
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and response 
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on server hardware 
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems 
  • Maintain proactive management and maintenance of the infrastructure to prevent service interruptions.
  • Schedule and prioritize work to accommodate client needs while minimizing impact on operations.
  • Contribute to internal project teams that establish guidelines, set procedures, outline standards, and monitor for industry compliance.
  • Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Requirements: 

  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written, verbal and listening.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.
  •  Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action. 

Technical Certification Level:  MCSE/MCSA preferred.
