Mobile Applications Tester
One of our prestigious clients is currently looking for a dynamic and highly skilled functional Tester with knowhow of web and mobile technologies as well as an entrepreneurial mind set to support a global project.
As part of a vibrant team of testers utilising the latest technologies you will be responsible for ensure mobile applications are in line with expectations from a functional perspective.
You will work closely with colleagues to define and document an appropriate and robust test methodology according to quality standards and in line with the development schedules, as well as be in charge of researching and implementing test methodologies and tools to improve software quality. Furthermore you will work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to translate requirements into specific test cases and drive the adoption of test automation and the latest testing techniques.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in iOS software development and High School Diploma
* Experience working on more than one product delivery cycle simultaneously.
* Experience as a tester in software development.
* Experience developing design specifications, test plans and protocols.
* Experience identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.
* Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
* Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
* Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
* Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
* Experience testing application with focus on customer experience preferable within the luxury industry
* Fluent in French and English
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics.
* Experience with manual testing on mobile devices (Android and iOS).
* Experience with client side technologies such as JavaScript, Jira 6, HP ALM, CSS3, HTML5, JBoss, AJAX, XML…
* Experience identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.
* Experience developing design specifications, test plans and protocols.
* Experience working with testing applications across tablets and cell phone devices, including updates to mobile operating systems.
