My major Investment Banking client based in London is currently seeking a Qualified Accountant (newly qualified) to join their CFO division.
Key Skills required for Qualified Accountant (newly qualified):
*Seeking newly qualified Accountants to join a large Investment Bank.
*Ideally candidates will have some Banking exposure - not essential.
*Qualified CFA or Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good working knowledge of accounting concepts.
*Proficient in Excel - ability to build and use spreadsheets.
*Any candidates with Banking Products knowledge will be advantageous
The role (accountabilities):
*Display strong communication skills (both written and oral).
*Run initial process and identify/resolve erroneous data
*Display high level of ownerships and attention to detail
*Run process, escalating more subjective initial findings.
*Prioritise and manage sub-processes
*Identify opportunities to improve/enhance process and reporting challenging the status quo.
*Work with the broader time to adopt best practice.
