Interactive digital designer / developer - 12 month contract

Working within the Creative Hub, a fast paced creative team responsible for all communications in the GB and Ireland Market for this client, a well known brand in Wiltshire..

The team has a range of roles within it, including print and retail design as well as studio, traffic, and account management.

As the interactive digital designer / developer you will need to design, develop, maintain and build digital creative work, creating flash banners, updating website content, building branded spaces on our retailer websites to help grow their online presence. You will also create storyboards and wireframes to show how digital assets integrate with our ATL, promotions and print campaigns.

Essential technical skills you need you to have:
Have strong design and creative skills, producing work that is
innovative and engaging.
Excellent knowledge of using Photoshop and Flash.
Ability to create and build high quality flash animations with an in depth knowledge of Flash & ActionScript.
Ability to design solutions for our websites from storyboards, wireframes through to transfer, product set up and delivery of assets e.g. Flash banners, apps and video elements.

Create assets that work across different platforms e.g. web, mobile, email.

Awareness of UX (User Experience).
Up to date in what makes a successful digital experience.
Knowledge of image & video compression and optimisation.
Understanding of CMS (Content Management System) and usability.
Knowledge of code based video/audio/image manipulation.
Knowledge of programming language HMTL, XML, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of Indesign.

Other things youll need to do:
Present work to clients and stakeholders, communicating rationale and securing buy-in.
Ensure that all projects are appropriately scoped, wire framed and reviewed.
Work with Project Management to ensure work and messaging is on brief.
Be a self-starter with can-do attitude. Youll be good at working under pressure and finding routes around challenges.
Strong collaborative skills and a team player; willing to muck in and do whatever it takes to get a job delivered on time with a can do attitude that inspires others.
Highly organised and delivery focused; the ability to manage and plan your time to complete work on brief and within tight deadlines as well as working on multiple projects at the same time.
Support other members of the team allowing them to learn more about digital design.
Ensure that work is consistent with their brand values, tone and messaging.
