Description
Our Telecoms sector client is currently looking for a Virtualization Energy Efficiency Expert for a 6 month+ contract assignment based in Stockholm/Sweden.
In the role you will play an important role in researching and developing energy efficiency technologies, solutions and prototypes for the NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and SDN (Software Defined Networking) networks, and the possible next generation networks.
Experience required for this role:
- Master or higher degree (preferred) in Computer Science or Telecommunications, or mathematics
- More than 10 years IT or CT industry R&D experience;
- Rich knowledge and hands-on experience of virtualization systems developing;
- Experience in route protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and TCP/IP, will be preferred.
- Experience on Linux/C/Java will be preferred;
- Hands-on experience on energy efficiency or performance optimization of distributed system is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
