Hi there!We currently have a BuddyBoss theme installed and running BuddyPress and WooCommerce. We have also installed the new Dokan plugin, to make this a social driven marketplace, similar to Etsy, but with a focus on women who raise money for Orphans.
We need someone with BOTH BuddyPress and WooCommerce experience – and the Buddypress experience is probably more important. Woocommerce seems to be easier to wrangle than BP.
Here is a list of what we need:
1. A custom registration form that allows for a choice between roles: the user would choose to become a Member or a Vendor. If they choose Vendor, a store needs to be setup through Dokan and they need to be approved as a seller. This can be done through Gravity Forms – hope you have experience there, too! We have a developer license if you do not, and have already installed GV and the Buddypress add-on.
2. A custom page template for the individual Shop pages – see attached. This also needs to have custom sidebar for each store, that also shows up on the individual product pages.
3. We need a new field added to the Dokan frontend editor that will be displayed on the custom shop page – Store Description.
4. On the Buddypress end, we need to add a link to the member sidebar: SHOP DASHBOARD, that is only visible to the shop owner.
5. We also need a button added to the top of the Buddypress profile for Vendors only that says VISIT MY SHOP.
6. We need a custom secondary menu created, too, that will appear at the top of the all the member/shop pages for Vendors who are logged in.
7. And, when a Member or Vendor logs in for the first time, we need two separate welcome screens for them that point out what to do next – Members will be directed to complete their profile and Vendors will be directed to set up their store first, and then their profile.
We were hoping to launch this site in October – which is probably unrealistic. But! We’d like to get it done – right – asap.
