Supplier Manager - Medical Devices

Description

Develop and improve the supplier base to ensure world class output (with regard to cost, quality and delivery precision), according to the procurement strategy

Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Support the selection and implementation of new suppliers according to the sourcing process
- Monitor and maintain the QA processes in the procurement framework
- Develop a number of suppliers, improving their performance and carry out supplier audits
- Support engineering changes with the suppliers
- Produce QA content for monthly progress report, chair the QA department meeting

Profile

- A Technical or Medical engineering qualification or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Bsc/Msc).
- 3 years experience in a quality related role
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations for renowned medical device producers
- Lead auditor (ISO 13485) qualified
- Knowledge of the English and German language in speaking and writing
