Splunk Administrator (UNIX/LINUX) / Banking / London / ContractOur client is a leading pillar of the International Banking community and is assertively looking to grow their successful team.
An Splunk Administrator (UNIX and LINUX Administrator) is required to come on board and work in a fast growing environment where Operational Intelligence is becoming key to their operations.
This will be an initial 5/6 MONTH CONTRACT with a strong opportunity to extend if successful. The role will be offering up to 600/day for the right candidate and based in London - Canary Wharf.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for design, architecture and implementation of the Splunk infrastructure in multiple locations around the globe.
- On-boarding internal application teams
- Creating reports and dashboards within Splunk
- Standardize Splunk forwarder deployment, configuration and maintenance across UNIX and Windows platforms
- Assist internal users of Splunk in designing and maintaining production-quality dashboards.
Experience Required:
- - 7 years+ Unix/Linux system administration experience
- - 2 years' Splunk administration experience in a distributed 24X7 environment
- - Experience on boarding application teams
- - Financial services/banking experience a plus
- - Perl, Shell Scripting, Splunk PL, Python
- - Architechtual knowledge of the Splunk Tiers
- - Sizing, scaling and growth of the Splunk platform.
