I have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced OTC Derivative ops analyst.

You will be providing support to the OTC Confirmations Team Leader and Department Manager. Ensuring that all team duties are completed accurately and within internal, market and SLA deadlines. You will be providing middle and Back Office operational support to investment management clients, across a wide range of Exchange Traded and Over the Counter products. The team's responsibilities include trade capture, trade affirmation/confirmation, trade settlement, margin calculation, margin settlement and all associated reconciliations.

Your duties will include but not limited to;

  • Attending internal and external meetings with clients and counterparties where required
  • Ensure that procedures are followed and updated regularly
  • Ensure that controls are adhered to and evidenced daily
  • To monitor own, team, client and counterparty performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • To contribute to tactical and strategic initiatives to improve performance

  • Swaps - Rates (IRS, Inflation, Zero Coupon, Basis, OIS, TRS, Asset); Credit (Single Name, Index); Equity (Single Name, Index, Variance, CFDs, TRS, Asset); FX (XCCY, Basis); Commodity (Index, Property)
  • Caps and Floors
  • Swaptions - Rates; Credit
  • Options - Equity; Index; FX

Key skills:

  • OTC Experience
  • Confirmations or prior Confirmations Experience 
  • Understanding and working knowledge of EMIR regulatory Deadlines
  • ACTING AS 1ST/2ND REVIEWER acting as 1st/2nd Reviewer

Desired:

  • Experience of using electronic matching platforms ie MARKIT WIRE, DTCC, MISYS CMS 
  • Experience of Markit Trade Manager (MTM) tooL
