Statutory Reporting Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) - West London - £385 per day
Statutory Reporting Accountant required by a leading energy company in West London near to Heathrow airport. This role will give you the opportunity to work for one of the world's pre-eminent companies committed to change process excellence
Core Responsibilities

Statutory Reporting general

Assist with the development and maintenance and deployment of the Global Statutory Reporting framework;

Management of delivery of regional Statutory Reporting, recognising local deadlines and requirements, technical support and review activities;

Assist with the Monthly/Quarterly/Annual deliveries in terms of Statutory Reporting.

Work and build good relationships with in country shared services, outsourcing providers, auditors, tax consultants and external authorities where relevant;

Support with annual audit and special audit requirements;

Manage financial information to support business unit needs/external reporting requirements;

Ensure reports, schedules, and summaries for internal & external customers are accurate and timely;

Ad-hoc Analysis and Projects;

Manage escalations from customers, senior stakeholders and external authorities;

Prepare GAAP adjustments and complete statutory accounts template, compile information required to draft statutory disclosures, co;

To continually review processes and seek to communicate and implement changes to improve efficiency, particularly given the scale of the work being taken on and the fact that much of the business contact will be with individuals not based in the UK.
This contract is based in West London near to Heathrow for an initial 6 months and the day rate is up to £385 per day.
