My client are one of the largest and fastest growing multi-channel retailers of Gentleman's formal and casualwear across the UK and Europe. Due to international expansion across 20+ stores worldwide and exciting retail expansion plans over the next 12 months they are now looking to recruit an experienced eCommerce Architect.

As part of their overall strategy, they will shortly be migrating their eCommerce websites to the Demandware in order to manage customer engagement across channels and have an integrated eCommerce strategy across 3 different sites - USA/China and the UK.

With close support from a strong Project delivery team, your initial responsibilities as the eCommerce Architect will include working closely with the marketing and merchandising departments to increase the product line on the demand ware store for the UK and APAC markets.

This is not just a generic architect role, rather it is the iteration of their business and as such you will be expected to have a pivotal influence on the future growth of this prestigious brand, providing technical direction and guidance on the future of their Multi-Channel retail strategy

In order to be considered, ideally you will possess the following:

-Experience implementing the Demandware Platform, either from an agency background or directly for a retailer.

-Good in front of clients: You will be acting as a focal point of expertise with internal stakeholders and clients on the Demandware eCommerce Platform builds.

-Previous Experience with the Javascript, XML,JSON, J2EE Stack and Spring Framework.
