Description
Progressive Global Energy are looking for a Sales Engineer or Sales Manager local to Stavanger who has a technical background in rotating equipment.The right candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, and a good knowledge of the oil and gas industry as well as the mechanical aspects of rotating equipment.
This position has good opportunities for career advancement and progression, and will look for a candidate who wants to be influential within the company. There will be ad hoc duties, so the right candidate should be not only prepared but willing to work outside of his core responsibilites.
The ideal candidate will possess the following criteria:
- Speak fluent Norwegian
- Strong business network in the Norwegian Oil and Gas Sector, preferably within service companies
- Technical background in mechanical engineering, specifically associated with rotating equipment or seals.
- Ambition to take a more proactive role within the company
- Able to prepare and/or carry out strong technical sales and troubleshooting
- Works well within a team
