SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.Location :
Lausanne und Region
Mission:
Provide evolved second level support to users, install, configure, maintain and supervise operational systems.
Responsibilities:
* Conform to Corporate IT's guidelines, policies and best practices.
* Apply, create and enhance the internal procedures and policies.
* Define the politic of workstation configuration and their development
* Put in place or challenge deployment processes and Update the documentation
* Participate and bring his expertize on new deployment projects
* Operate and manage IT systems in production
* Analyze and solve tickets including complex problems and elaborate corrective measures.
* Lead and/or participate to Corporate IT projects
* Interact with other IT and Corporate Security groups, participate and implement their recommendations
* Maintain and control IT systems and their security
* Analyze breakdowns or problems, propose corrective measures
* Propose technical, functional and organizational solutions to improve efficiency of the group
* Perform and structure technology watch with proper documentation and reporting
* Coach and train on new technologies
* Act as a technical lead for the rest of the team
* Act in ITIL best practices and enhance them
Requirements / Profile
Experience and background
* 5-10 years as system administrator
* Solid Windows knowledge upon Microsoft Desktop technologies
* Windows Seven or Windows 8 certification mandatory
* Powershell or equivalent scripting language knowledge
* Deployment tools like Altiris or SCCM knowledge
* Good knowledge on complex production environment spread over continents
* Linux, MAC-OS, iOS operating systems knowledge
* ITIL Foundation certification
* Knowledge on web development could be a plus
Qualifications
* Degree in computer science.
Languages
* French : fluent oral and writing skills.
* English : good oral and writing skills (First Certificate Level).
