Description
My client, a global IT outsourcing company, ungently requires a Test consultant with experience in QA testing and software such as SCADA. The successful candidate will be a part of the client's SCRUM team.
Key Responsibilities:
Software testing, Performance & test-automation, TFS, QTP, Scripting languages, OS: Linus & Windows.
Added Advantage:
Candidates with Power T&D domain, S/W such as SCADA or DMS will be an added advantage.
Job Description:
The client is developing their testing activities and looking for an experienced software tester.
Successful candidate will be:
- a product expert and work closely with developers to develop our testing processes (critical part in the development of new product releases) .
- working to analyze customer reported bugs and based on them suggest process improvements in order to gradually reduce the number of errors reported after release.
- working in collaboration with the development team here in Västerås, but will also be required to work with teams in Poland and the USA.
Requirements
- knowledge of test concepts, know how they are used and are familiar with positive and negative test strategies.
- Experience of working on performance testing and test automation and is knowledge in so-called exploratory testing .
- Experience the power and domain knowledge of usability, power, and software such as SCADA or DMS is positive for the role.
- Expert user of TFS and QTP, Scripting languages, and is used to working with operating systems like Linux and Windows.
