Costing Analyst (contract), Edinburgh
£
As a result of an increased workload my client requires an additional short-term resource to support the business from a financial and commercial perspective.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the Activity Based Costing (ABC) process for the business in line with standards and deadlines agreed with central ABC team
- Analyse results and review ABC results with key stakeholders
- Develop a business-wide view of expenses, their drivers and outcomes to help drive forward the Operational Efficiency programme
- Provide monthly expense support to managers
- Ensure finance governance is adhered to at all times
Key Skills & experience:
- Qualified account (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Previous costing experience is preferred and not necessarily within Financial Services
- Strong communication and influencing skills must be demonstrated at all levels across the group
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong report writing skills
- Strong time management skills
- Flexible team player
