BI OLAP DeveloperLondon - 4 Months Contract
My client, an internationally regarded media house, is looking for an experienced OLAP Developer, to assist in the development, implementation and operation of an enterprise-wide data warehouse. The ideal candidate must have hands on experience in with working within a large scale, data warehouse environment & developing a robust BI solution.
Essentials:
- 5+ years of Business Intelligence development experience.
- Extensive development experience throughout SQL Server Stack (SSAS, SSRS and SSIS)
- Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience.
- Experience working with T-SQL & MDX
- Minimum of two years' experience in developing BI solutions
- Experience with business dashboards & data visualization tools.
- Full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies.
- Design and implement SQL Server 2008 R2 Analysis Services through multi-dimensional cubes.
- Advanced performance tuning techniques.
- You are ready to "hit the ground running"
Desirables:
- SQL Server Analysis Services development and administration.
- .NET based CLR application development (either VB or C#) experience.
- Advanced understanding of data warehouse design, including logical and physical modelling.
- High exposure to the Media industry.
- Microsoft BI Certification is highly desirable.
