Mission (purpose of the job):
The Mobile developer will join the Mobile team and contribute to the developments of new features for mobile applications.
Main responsibilities:
Analysis
* Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
* Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
* Estimate development stories
* Act as a Solution Designer when needed
Development
* Develop new mobile features for the applications' portfolio by following industry standards for code quality
* Perform corrective maintenance and correction of identified defects
* Unit test development
* Participate in bug resolution
* Apply best practices, and software architecture guidelines
Skills:
* 5-10 years' experience as a software developer
* Strong development background on native iOS (Objective C)
* Relevant and proven experience on coding cross-platforms mobile applications using frameworks such as PhoneGap and Sencha Touch
* Experience of source code management software (GIT)
* Experience and good knowledge of Web Services consumption (JSON, SOAP, RESTful)
* Scripting (e.g. Python) and PHP is considered a plus
* Experience in hybrid architecture (Webview + WebServices)
* Working experience in Agile environment and development methodologies
Language(s):
Must speak fluent English and French.
