Description
Strategy Manager is needed for my financial client to work on a Group wide transformation project. As the Strategy Manager, you will have strong expertise in leading work streams within large projects and/or smaller projects in their entirety, within the broader remit of the Strategy Team.
As the Strategy Manager, you will, interact different Heads of Functions to ensure that plans, strategic decisions and change activities align to business Strategy. As the Strategy Manager, you will provide expertise, advice and guidance and/or to supply support services to review performance against strategy, identify targets and resolve strategic gaps across the business.
As the Strategy Manager, you will have strong expertise in producing presentation material for Board/ExCo audience on strategic topics and plans. As the Strategy Manager, you will contribute strategic thinking and risk assessment to annual business planning process and coordinate and join up annual Operational Plans to ensure consistency and alignment with strategy.
As the Strategy Manager, you will have the following skills:
* Work with Heads of Functions, Planning teams and Design Authority members of Strategy team to create and update the Integrated Transition Plan
* Supply expertise, advice, guidance, challenge, consultancy and support to peers and Heads of Functions to facilitate effective management decision-making
* With support from Strategy Leader or E3 Manager, lead the design, initiation and execution workstreams or smaller projects within the broader Strategy work plan
* Collaborate with, and mobilise, "Head of" and Project Manager community on smaller projects or workstreams to clarify and agree strategy requirements
* Support the effective communication of the business strategy throughout the business
* Maintain a good understanding of Conduct Risk requirements relevant to the role and work in line with the FCA requirements
