Commercial Officer - CIPS - Construction
My Public Sector client are looking for a Commercial Officer to lead,under supervision of the Commercial Lead/Specialist on the implementation of procurement strategy, sourcing activity and supplier relationship management.
- Proven experience of procurement of construction, works, maintenance, facilities management and waste projects including standard forms of contract
- Extensive experience in purchasing and supply procedures and processes (including e-Tendering), including EU Directives
- Knowledge of the construction and/or estates/facilities management and/or waste supply market
- Proven track record in influencing and managing procurement improvements and delivering savings with strong interpersonal skills
- Ideally CIPS qualified or equivalent experience.
