Description
Leading global pharmaceutical organisation is looking to complete their team to support the delivery of a major expansion project in the South of UK.Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and support project teams to create and maintain comprehensive and up to date cost forecasts and budgets.
- Provide routine cost control support for capital projects e.g. estimating, cash flow analysis, production of bills of quantity etc.
- Assist project managers to produce, control and monitor internal monthly Project Performance Reports and any other cost related reports necessary for the proper control projects.
- Ensure that all elements of costs are properly coded including labour time sheets, project management, purchase requisitions, etc.
- Develop and operate project cost and financial control systems and procedures e.g. SAP
- Provide commercial input to Close Out Reports if requested by Project Managers.
Pre/Post Contract support.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Extensive experience in cost engineering on capital projects
- Possess Mechanical and Electrical background
- Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical / Bio-pharmaceutical industry is a MUST
- Proficiency in the use of costing and planning tools / software.
- Qualification in Engineering / Cost Control / Estimating /Commercial
- Individual must have customer service attitude, diplomacy, ability to work well with co-workers and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
