A leading public organisation is looking to add 2 Reports Developers to their team, to help them through a period of change within the organisation.They are a progressive, relaxed working team, who deal with vast amounts of data based around data collected from the general public. Due to a recent re-structure, they are looking to add 2 Analyst/developers to their team for a period of 3 months, in order to facilitate change within this business, and to create new reporting solutions for the business.
Type - 3 Month contract
Location - Cheshire
Rate - £160 - £180 P/D
Start Date - 9th October
Essential -
- SQL Server
- Access
- VBA/VB
- Visual Studio
- SSRS
- T-SQL
- Very strong communication skills
Desirable -
- Technical expertise in Microsoft operating systems including ADS, terminal services, domain structures and physical topology
- Public Sector experience
Daily Duties -
- To seek, understand, and translate business information needs into specifications for business reports.
- To provide easy access to business metrics/reports for operational teams, in the most economic and efficient way, through appropriate use of portals, groups, email, network shares or other as appropriate.
- To administer and maintain the SSRS reporting environment
- To seek, understand, and translate business problems into specifications for software/application development.
- To provide application and database development capability to address business information and reporting needs making use of appropriate language and database environments, e.g. Visual Studio, SQL server, .Net, Access.
