Senior .NET/UI Developer - 6MTH Contract, Cork.Leading software development organisation based in Cork is urgently looking for a Senior .NET/UI Developer to join them on a 6 month contract basis.
Working on an enterprise E-commerce application application for a major US client, the role will involve constant interaction with other developers in the team to develop and maintain a robust, scalable and performant system.
The right Senior .NET/UI Developer will have solid experience of implementing high-traffic web applications with strong creative and dynamic UI. Experience with User interface (UI) technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery etc) and good knowledge of JavaScript programming patterns eg Client-side MVC, event driven programming, JSONP & dynamic resource loading is required.
Any experience of JavaScript Frameworks/Libraries (RequireJS, Jquery Mobile, EventJS, NodeJS, KnockoutJS, AngularJS etc) would be advantageous but is not essential. Any exposure to .NET 4.5 and MVC4, RESTful and WCF web services or DI/IoC will be looked upon favourably.
This is a superb project for one of Europe's leading organisations, and there is excellent scope for contract extensions beyond the initial 6 months. The client is very contractor-friendly, with flexible working conditions and numerous contractors already on-site.
