Description
We're a boutique UX Design agency looking for a talented UX Designer to hire on a project basis. Must have experience with mobile and web interfaces.You’ll wireframe and design interfaces for mobile and web applications. This includes conceptualizing and wireframing, interaction design, and visual design, while collaborating with our design team.
You’ll need 3 - 5 years experience in UX design, a sharp eye for detail, a strong portfolio and a readiness to dive into deep UI concepts.
Skills we're looking for:
- Experience designing web and mobile interfaces
- Ability to conceptualize interface solutions for complex ideas
- Comfortable with communicating ideas through wireframes and prototypes
- Strong visual design skills and background (color, type, layout etc)
- Familiarity / Proficiency with industry software (Sketch preferred, also Adobe suite and various wireframe & prototyping tools)
- Focus on user centered design & usability
- Solid understanding of web, IOS & Android technology (you don't need to know how to write the code, but you do need to be able to communicate with developers on process & design)
- Comfortable with online collaboration tools (Basecamp, Jira, etc)
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating wireframes and UI concepts to explore and visualize product strategy decisons
- Designing complex user interfaces, optimizing for the best possible UX as well as strong visual appeal
- Collaborating with other designers and clients to achieve the best possible design solutions
- Answering questions and providing follow up support to developers

- Ability to self manage, but also collaborate when needed
- Willingness to do the boring stuff as well as the fun stuff
- Confidentiality. Our clients like secrecy so we don't blab about their projects.
- Flexibility and comfortable with quickly shifting priorities
- Ability to stay organized and manage lots of details
