Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be the interface between the EDGE programme and the Application development community and testing community
- Agree Plan with the Application development community to ensure the NBP suite operates on the EDGE platform
- Ensure an effective test cycle of the NBP suite on the EDGE platform identifies defect that will arise from moving to the new browser on the windows desktop.
- Ensure that the defects raised through testing that require development are prioritised.
- Interface into the Testing Centre of Excellence to complete functional and performance testing where required.
- Leverage the governance of the EDGE programme to ensure delivery.
- Ensure development cycles align with the NBP development cycles.
- Host business/technical change requests meeting and assess whether business change or technical change can progress in line with the EDGE change for schedule releases
- Identify known defects in advance of development or testing on the EDGE platform to ensure the development effort is expended on migration to the Windows Platform
- Ensure the developments/testing is completed on both the virtual and "thick client" desktop
- Interface into the UAT Application Testing and validation Project Manager and work with our delivery partners to address any changes required on the EDGE desktop to minimise development effort
- Enable the delivery partner to deliver with the application community.
- Be the interface between the Branch Enablement Architect on the EDGE programme
- Use the EDGE technical forum to bring the infrastructure community and application development community together to deliver the EDGE programme and map out the roadmap for future delivery
- Ensure all major milestones are delivered and manage those that are at risk and require intervention.
- Manage and track utilisation of resource and report on budget utilisation.
- Utilise Agile methodologies to deliver the desired outcome on schedule with all stakeholders.
