Understand the OSS Fulfilment Processes [from Ordering downwards] Understand the Network Inventory Domain Demonstrate Architectural understanding of how the OSSS Systems fit Understand the Fulfilment/Network Inventory issues and challenges that confront Telecom Operators Understand the nuances of Wireless and Copper and Fibre topologies Must show understanding of IP TV, IP VPN, MPLS, GigeE products Must show understanding of COTS such as Cramer, Amdocs Order Management, Netcracker, Telecordia, Oracle, Metasolv [now oracle], Clarity, etc. [atleast one or two] Additionally understanding of:
Knowledge of business processes for 'Concept to Market', 'Lead to Cash' and 'Trouble to Repair' cycles in Telecom Use of Industry Standard architecture framework like TMF Frameworx, eTOM, SID, TOGAF, etc. Translation of Business Requirement's into Valid Enterprise and Technical Solutions Architecture The proposed consultants have accrued expert knowledge across the entire OSS/BSS stack over many years, in terms of best practice, as well as many mistakes to be avoided that they have encountered over the years.
In terms of systems, process and application architecture, their combined knowledge covers the entire systems and process spectrum.
