C Developer - Freelance - Wroclaw, Poland
A purpose-built Software Development centre based in Wroclaw, Poland have a fantastic opportunity for a C developer to join their team for a 1-2 year freelance position. They are an Agile-oriented, value-driven team of more than 300 professionals who strive to deliver their clients excellent software.
They require someone to work and complete an existing project developing in plain C, which will then lead on to new opportunities/projects utilising newer languages and technologies.
The rates are NEGOTIABLE depending on experience.
The role:
- Designing, implementing and testing new functionalities
- Documenting currently carried out processes
- Working within an Agile development team (although Scrum or similar Agile experience would be an advantage)
The position requires:
- Practical C programming skills
- Good knowledge of the UNIX environment
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server Preferred)
- Ability to program in BASH
- Experience in developing Server Side applications (development and maintaining of batch processes would be an advantage)
- Very good command of English in speaking and writing
