Description
We are currently looking for an embedded SW developer with a strong focus on C and C++ development for a fantastic company involved in satellite communications. He/she will be involved in the complete SW development cycle (analyze, design, coding, testing and bug fixing).Main Responsibilities:
Translate requirements of a Satellite telecommunication system to more detailed requirements and to an architecture
Define and document a design
Be involved in the complete development cycle: design, implementation and test of the components and architecture
Follow up whether the implementation is in line with the original defined architecture and requirements.
Debug and solve problems
Document code, solutions and test cases
Experience/Education Required
Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication)
Knowledge and experience in C and C++ development in embedded context
Knowledge of IP and related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc)
General knowledge of telecommunication systems and concepts
Strong communication skills to explain a defined architecture
Good knowledge on embedded Linux
Hands-on mentality.
Emphasis on abstract and conceptual thinking.
Commitment and self-motivation
Written and spoken English
Surplus:
Experience in (system) telecommunication systems
Experience in satellite communication system
Knowledge on the possibilities of different hardware architecture (FPGA, network processor, …)
