Mechanical Verification Engineer/ Project Manager - AberdeenProgressive Global Energy has been tasked by a key account in Aberdeen to source an experienced Mechanical Verification Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company are a well established, renowned classification company that specialise in technical assurance across various industries.
This reputable company are currently looking to expand their team and the Mechanical Verification Engineer will play a pivotal role in providing operational verification assistance on projects within tight time frames in line with client's niche requirements.

Your main duties will include:
- Lead and execute operational O&G contracts in a project engineer/management role
- Carry out both technical and internal mechanical verification studies
- Implement operational project plans
- Advise clients on any technical issues
- Supervise and mentor the more junior engineers
Experience and qualifications you need for this position:
- Engineering degree or HND in engineering along although alternatively extensive industry experience may be considered
- Previous verification experience within a mechanical capacity
- Proven project Management experience
- Previous experience of Static equipment, rotating machinery, or piping materials and components would also be advantageous
