Graduate Credit Analyst
Excellent opportunity for a graduate with strong excel skills to join one of the world's leading Investment Banks, based in Canary Wharf.
The Insurance Associate supports the analysts with the day to day responsibility for a diverse portfolio of European insurance clients. The principal focus of the role is supporting the more experienced analysts in the management of counterparty credit risk across the portfolio.
The role should offer extensive opportunity to interface with all businesses supporting this sector, and good opportunity to gain detailed knowledge of transactional banking and traded products.
- To support credit analysts with all aspects of their responsibilities, including annual credit reviews, portfolio reviews, classified credit reviews.
- Complete ad-hoc projects as required, such as reporting of portfolio data internal and external audit, regulators and senior management.
- To become the first point of contact in London with CRMS and CRMA for dealing with excesses, unmatched items, and any other issues.
- Monitor ISDA/CSA credit terms, ensure all credit systems updated correctly; oversee resolution with analysts and Legal.
- To become the first point of contact for all incoming credit requests in London, liaising with product management/relationship management/support areas across the globe.
Requirements;
Graduate in a finance related or other relevant discipline.
Strong excel skills.
A year in industry or relevant post graduate work experience would be beneficial.
An interest in Credit and/or Insurance markets.
