Title: SOA Architect

Our client in Atlanta, GA is looking for a SOA Architect; for an exciting opportunity. As the SOA Architect you will work with business analysts and software architects to design and develop applications utilizing various Java technologies surrounding SOA implementations (including Core Java, Java Beans, Hibernate, JEE, Web Services, ESBs)
Please note in in this role you must have: STRONG BACKGROUND IN SERVICE ORIENTED ARCHITECTURE and the SOA framework
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Addresses production application issues in a timely manner
Identifies, evaluates and implements technology solutions focused on the long-term needs of the SaaS business
Delivers software that meets specified requirements and quality standards
Delivers software that is manageable, reliable and focused on long-term benefit
Clearly documents code and designs to ensure that others can understand
Works with analysts and testers to thoroughly test solutions and limit production application and data issues
Clearly communicates changes in Java applications
Quickly and effectively addresses operational issues and internal client requests via standard processes and mechanisms
Effectively manages client expectations
Seeks and applies feedback from internal customers
Works with offshore team members to deliver products in an efficient manner
Evaluates technologies for applicability within technology platform
Mentors team members on technologies and methodology (Waterfall Methodologies)
