Description
We are currently looking for a dynamic Software QA Tester to join the QA Support team, which supports the Dynamic Reservoir Modeling Development teams in developing their products. The Software QA Tester will work with developers/programmers and analysts on the development, maintenance and quality assurance of these products. The candidate will assist in establishing best practice testing methodologies for all deliverables. The candidate must be an open, communicative person, engaging with peers, clients and executives.
Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science or a related discipline.
- 4+ years experience
- Experience with functional and performance testing tools, processes and methodologies
- Experience and affinity with performance testing (of databases, network etc)
- Experience and affinity with security testing
- Experience with functional defect tracking tools
- Experience in processing large amounts of data
- Experience writing code to automate testing tasks
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certified (first level)
- Good knowledge of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Fortran, Python
